Deni Avdija

A lesser-known prospect from Israel, Deni Avdija is projected to be a top-ten pick. He’s currently sitting at No. 7.

Trading down to No. 7 and acquiring more draft capital in next year’s draft could be a move, but if the Warriors are in love with the Avdija and envision him like foreign superstar Luka Doncic, there’s no way they risk passing up their shot.

The 6-foot-7 19-year-old was considered a sleep candidate for the No. 1 overall pick by Bleacher Report.

“His skill set is all about multiples: multiple positions, multiple strengths, multiple paths to production. Defensively, he can handle multiple spots. Offensively, he takes on multiple roles on or off the ball,” B/R’s Zach Buckley wrote.

An NBA-ready player is exactly what the Warriors need. The Warriors, who will have Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry in their prime for the next few seasons, could use a high-floor player, and that’s exactly what Avdija would bring.

That’s why he lands at No. 3 on our big board.
