2. Aron Baynes

Aron Baynes has been one of the best under-the-radar players in the league this season. He won’t win it, but he certainly deserves recognition as a candidate for the Most Improved Player Award.

Baynes transformed into a deadeye from the 3-point line. Taking inspiration from the rest of the NBA’s big men, Baynes has hit double the amount of 3-pointers through 42 games this season (59) than the rest of his eight-year career combined (25).

He is a bulky center that would excel at setting screens for Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. His potential as a pick-and-pop player is intriguing and could be deadly for the Warriors throughout the next season.

Baynes is going to be a top candidate for a load of contending teams this offseason. The Warriors will have to persuade him to join the roster for a discounted price but anything is possible for a 33-year-old center looking to win a title before his playing days are over.
