3. Andrew Wiggins
For better or worse, there is a twisted possibility in which Andrew Wiggins one day becomes the best player on the Golden State Warriors roster.
As previously mentioned, Stephen Curry has plenty of chapters left to write before his story is over. However, at 32 years of age and coming off a significant hand injury in which he reportedly suffered nerve damage, it’s possible Curry’s decline comes quickly.
The same goes for Klay Thompson. Thompson is recovering from a torn ACL that could hurt his athleticism and limit him over the years. If this is the case, Wiggins could end up with a heavy role.
Of course, this is also assuming that Wiggins makes notable leaps in his game. He is a steady scorer, averaging 21.8 points per game this season. But, Wiggins has ways to go as a defender and as a true scoring option.
Wiggins has some development to do but is still only 25 years old. By the time he reaches his late 20s, Wiggins could look like a totally different player. It may be unlikely but it is possible Wiggins is next up for the Dubs.
