2. Anthony Edwards

The Golden State Warriors have made it abundantly clear that if they land the top pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, Anthony Edwards will likely be their guy.

Edwards made noise at Georgia by being a powerhouse guard with elite finishing ability. He is a strong athlete and is capable of overpowering smaller opponents with ease. His streaky 3-point shooting is a concern but his form is solid and the potential to be a three-level scorer is there.

More importantly, Edwards has given great indications of being a lockdown defender. He is quick on his feet and his muscular build makes him a tough defender to get passed. Edwards will find success as a two-way player in the future.

By the time Edwards reaches his prime, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson will be long out of theirs. This means Edwards is an ideal candidate to lead the next generation of Warriors basketball.
