NBA readiness

While most of these build off each other, each of them is also just as important to Golden State as the last.

Players like James Wiseman and LaMelo Ball still have the verdict out on how one-dimensional their games will be. Ball hasn’t shown an efficient playstyle while Wiseman’s offensive prowess is up in the air as well.

Toppin brings the best of both worlds.

“Toppin also brings a mature slate of offensive skills that will immediately translate to the NBA…. He can create his own shot and his athleticism will erase any rookie mistakes early on while he develops,” Bleacher Report’s Maurice Bobb wrote when talking about players that could have an instant impact in the league.

An instant impact and a player with a low floor are two of the biggest points of emphasis that set Toppin aside. Not only those, but his fit within the Warriors offense and roster compilation is also one that should matter.
