1. Dubs will return mentally strong

After going to the finals for five years in a row from 2015-2019, the Golden State Warriors played a combined total of 105 playoff games. Let’s remind ourselves, they won the Finals three of those five times.

That is 1.28 seasons more played for the Warriors compared to players that didn’t make the playoffs during that span. Squeezing that many games into that timeframe is not only physically draining, but mentally as well.

The Warriors will be the most benefited squad to get some mental health days and come back next season with a newfound focus and killer instinct that made them who they were during the recent dynastic run.

Curry and Thompson, more specifically, should return with a chip on their shoulder that another tragic ending in the playoffs might not have given them. The rejuvenated Big 3 should smart a top team in the NBA.
