New Orleans Pelicans

The New Orleans Pelicans have the future of their franchise.

While they missed Zion Williamson for the bulk of the season, putting them out of playoff contention, next season they should be ready to take their team into the top half of the Western Conference.

The Pelicans will have a lottery pick in the upcoming draft.

That said, two future first-round picks, one of which would be that 2020 lottery pick, and a player that could help round out their roster like Lonzo Ball or Jaxson Hayes would be an ideal trade proposal, getting both sides the help they need.

The Pelicans would be able to get a defensive-minded player like James Wiseman or couple the Ball brothers by snagging LaMelo. Either player would tremendously help the team fill out their roster as well.

It’s tough to get that superstar player it takes to get to the next level, and the Pelicans have it. They need to fill out their roster with player that will maximize Zion’s abilities. Both Ball and Wiseman, two players they couldn’t get at their current spot, would help do that.
