2. Tyrese Haliburton

The Golden State Warriors will need a reliable backup guard to relieve some pressure off of Stephen Curry. If they don’t manage to fill this void in free agency, a player such as Tyrese Haliburton could be their best option.

Haliburton is a skilled guard with playmaking and scoring ability. He averaged 15.2 points and 6.5 assists in his sophomore season at Iowa State and was named to the All-Big 12 Team.

The Warriors could use a player such as Haliburton to anchor their second unit. He showed great awareness in college and is more developed than many of his peers. At 20 years of age, Haliburton is one of the older players in the draft.

Haliburton can be a nice glue guy for the Warriors one day. He isn’t prone to taking big risks and usually plays within the team system. This is exactly what the Dubs are looking for.
