Eric Paschall

With two second-round draft picks, the Golden State Warriors may’ve found the best player in the round with the latter of the two. Eric Paschall, a rookie out of Villanova, has turned heads with high-energy play.

Averaging 14.0 points per game, the most of any second-round pick, Paschall was an integral part of the Warriors offense this season. His efficiency, shooting 49.7% from the field, was one huge positive regarding his play.

While he likely won’t ever blossom into a superstar talent, Paschall is a developed 6-foot-6 power forward that could be the second coming of Draymond Green.

He’s a strong, physical player that has a bright career ahead of him partially because he developed his game well at the collegiate level. But, the downside of that is Paschall is already 23 years old, the same age as D’Angelo Russell who has been in the league half a decade.

Paschall wasn’t just one of the best second-round rookies but one of the best overall rookies in the Class of 2019, further proving Golden State’s ability to find talent late in the draft.
