5. (2019) Game 3 Explosion versus Toronto

With the odds stacked against him, Stephen Curry delivered one of his best individual performances to date.

The Toronto Raptors had a massive advantage over the Golden State Warriors heading into the 2019 NBA Finals. The Dubs would be playing without Kevin Durant for all but 12 minutes in Game 5 and needed Curry to carry an unbelievably heavy load on offense.

Through the first two games, the Raptors had done a great job of limiting Curry. He had attempted fewer than 20 shots in each game as the Raptors were dangerously close to jumping out to a 2-0 lead.

Heading back to Oakland with the series knotted at 1-1, Curry knew he had to break out and do something special. This is when the former scoring champion showed off his range and drilled 6-of-14 3-pointers en route to an NBA Playoff career-high 47 points.

Curry did everything in his power to lead the Warriors to victory but the gap in talent was too much to overcome. Still, this stands as one of Curry’s best scoring nights.
