3. (2016) Sets NBA Playoff record in overtime

The 2015-16 NBA season was a special one for Stephen Curry. He captured his second straight MVP award and lit up the league for a single-season record for 3-pointers. However, he was saving his best hot streak for the playoffs.

Early in the postseason, Curry fell with a knee injury after a wet spot on the Houston Rockets caused him to slip. He missed four consecutive games before making a triumphant return in the second round versus Portland.

He began the game slowly, scoring just 23 points and shooting 10-of-25 through four quarters as the game headed to overtime. Then, Curry did exactly what everyone was waiting for.

Curry was scorching hot in the overtime period. The unanimous MVP dropped 17 points and missed only one shot as he broke the NBA record for most points in overtime. The degree of difficulty on each shot was ridiculous and there was nothing anybody could do to slow him down.
