Center

The Golden State Warriors need a capable center. Marquese Chriss is the only player on the Warriors roster currently listed as a center. It will certainly be an issue the team must address this offseason.

Chriss should be able to get solid minutes next season, but having been cut during the season and then re-signed, the Warriors clearly don’t view him as the future of the team’s frontcourt. Although just 22, Chriss likely won’t be the team’s starter next season.

The Warriors will have a few options to improve, and the easiest avenue to see them doing so is through the draft. James Wiseman is an option, but they apparently aren’t overly intrigued by his ceiling.

Free agency is there, but at the same time, it’s difficult to see them finding a quality starter there with their limited cap. After trading Willie Cauley-Stein early this season, the Warriors will need to sign a center.

But, who they look to add is truly up in the air. Upcoming free agent Alex Len wouldn’t be a bad option.
