Backup small forward

Andrew Wiggins and Juan Toscano-Anderson are the only two small forwards on the team, and who knows if Toscano-Anderson will be back next season. Also, who knows if Andrew Wiggins, who was brought in as part of the D’Angelo Russell trade, will still be a Warrior.

What we do know is the Warriors will have a top pick in the upcoming NBA Draft. While it’s likely to be moved back from it’s currently-scheduled June date, the Warriors selection and their big board shouldn’t change much.

Anthony Edwards seems to be at the top of the list, and that would solid a huge need for them.

It wouldn’t only give them one of the best up-and-coming prospects, but it would allow them to fill out their second unit with a player capable of going off at any moment. Wiseman makes sense, but LaMelo Ball doesn’t given the team’s current roster structure.

Edwards would truly be the best option for the team, and he would slide in right behind Wiggins.

That said, this coming offseason will be a telling one, and the Warriors, if they want to return to the top of the league, must fix their depth at these positions.
