The Golden State Warriors have put themselves in a position and collected the assets needed to pull off one of the league’s most transforming trade.

There’s no denying the Golden State Warriors have done their best to accumulate assets throughout their most challenging season in over half a decade.

Having just 15 wins through the first 65 games, Golden State has already been eliminated from playoff contention, the only team with such a status.

As the NBA’s currently on a hiatus due to the wide-spread coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, the Warriors should be analyzing their future moves, one that could include a blockbuster trade in the near future.

With their 2020 first-round pick officially back in their possession after protecting it in a trade with the Brooklyn Nets, the Warriors have multiple picks, multiple up-and-coming stars, an MVP and a former DPOY on their roster.

While they’ll certainly not deal Stephen Curry or Draymond Green, a good chunk of the remaining roster are up for grabs. The only other off-limits player is five-time All-Star Klay Thompson.

That said, if the team is to dig into trades prior to the 2020 NBA Draft, a draft they seemingly aren’t overly thrilled over, here is one blockbuster trade that the team must, at the very least, toss out there.
