Future sacrifices

The Golden State Warriors would undoubtedly do this trade.

Giannis is just 25 and is destined to continue his dominance over the league. Having averaged 29.6 points, 13.7 rebounds and 5.8 assists prior to the league being suspended, Giannis was easily the MVP favorite.

However, while jeopardizing the future would be worth it, the Warriors would have to think long and hard on if they wanted to give up more if this wasn’t enough. After all, they’re already giving up potentially the No. 1 overall pick.

If he develops to his ceiling, Anthony Edwards could be the league’s next superstar. Eric Paschal could be a lesser form of three-time champion and former DPOY Draymond Green and the likely lottery pick next season could potentially turn into a star as well.

There’s quite a bit on the line if the best-case scenario pans out for Milwaukee.

But, at the end of the day, the Bucks may rather offer the supermax and watch their star leave — we truly don’t know the Bucks mindset into how they’ll play Giannis’ upcoming free agency.

If it includes a trade, you better bet the Golden State Warriors will be in line to offer up the barn for the superstar.
