The Golden State Warriors need to be careful and avoid taking any unnecessary risks in the 2020 NBA Draft.

The Golden State Warriors have every reason to play it safe heading into the 2020 NBA Draft. There is real potential for the franchise to build a second dynasty this decade and taking a risk in the offseason would be unnecessary.

At their core, the Dubs have everything they need to win a championship. A two-time MVP leads the way in Stephen Curry while one of the greatest shooters of all-time plays alongside him in the backcourt. Assuming Draymond Green ramps up his productivity with his All-Star teammates back in the lineup, this big three can stand toe-to-toe with anyone in the league.

Nevertheless, it takes a team effort to win championships. Andrew Wiggins is an interesting addition to the team and will be a major x-factor moving forward. Meanwhile, young players such as Ky Bowman, Marquese Chriss and Jordan Poole will need to rise to the occasion as well.

With so much relying on an unproven supporting cast, the Warriors need to take the 2020 NBA Draft seriously. They can’t afford to miss on a prospect here. Let’s look at three safe options to consider.
