2. Tyrese Haliburton

While Obi Toppin seems to be an ideal prospect for the Golden State Warriors, Tyrese Haliburton fills a bigger need.

The Dubs are loaded with frontcourt players. Names such as Draymond Green, Kevon Looney, Marquese Chriss and Eric Paschall will be juggling for minutes next season. Adding Toppin will only make things more complicated.

As for the backcourt, only Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson stand with solidified roles. Jordan Poole has the potential to be a spark plug shooting guard off the bench but the Warriors lack a true point guard to lead the second unit.

This is where Haliburton could thrive. He was a strong court leader for Iowa State and had a mature understanding of the game. Haliburton plays to his strengths and has the team’s best interest in mind at all times.

Last season, Haliburton averaged 15.2 points and 6.5 assists per game. He can fill in as a backup for Curry and be in charge of orchestrating offense for the bench squad.
