The Golden State Warriors dynasty and the early-90s Chicago Bulls have several similarities, and the two stints were eerily similar.

With the release of “The Last Dance,” many are starting to reflect on the impact the early-90s Chicago Bulls had on the NBA. Well, the late 2010s Golden State Warriors rival that same impact.

The Warriors have won three of the last five championships. The team, which saw two of their three stars injured in the 2019 Finals and allowed a 3-1 comeback in the 2016 Finals, was just a few games away from having won the last five straight titles.

However, five appearances until a down year mainly caused by injury is enough to appease a fanbase and completely change the way the NBA views the game. The Warriors were the ones to truly usher in three-point dominance.

They transcended basketball that way, but in many other ways, they resemble those early-90s Bulls, a team that the public is either learning or being reminded much of through this ten-part series detailing the core of Michael Jordan’s career.

That said, let’s dive into three similarities that the two had and how the Warriors were able to mimic their roster to one that similar to those dominating Bulls’ teams.
