Just give ’em all the draft picks

This is the most alluring trade package by far.

The picks are what Golden State is after, and they clearly value the 2021 draft more than the current one. As aforementioned, the Knicks haven’t been good in several seasons, so it’s likely the pick next season wouldn’t change much by adding D’Angelo Russell.

Add in Trier, and this would likely get the deal done. The Warriors, in their current package, were able to get what should be a lottery pick in the 2021 NBA Draft; however, the Knicks should have a more valuable pick than the Timberwolves.

Two lottery picks and a young guard is what the Warriors craved, especially since Trier played almost 20% of his rookie season at the three, a position the Warriors needed a quality young player at.

That said, all three trades seem FAR more reasonable than the one that New York did offer and would’ve presented them an actual chance to bring in the star the city needs.
