Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks are a team on the rise. Like the Golden State Warriors, the Mavericks have their two franchise cornerstones. Those two, Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis, have exploded onto the scene.

The Mavericks, before the league was suspended, were on pace to make the playoffs. They are a team that will eventually be one of the best in the West, and Draymond Green could’ve been there to help them with that ascension.

Green, who used to be a daily triple-double threat, has since declined statistically. His impact on the game on the players around him with his energy and passion are still there. He’d fit perfectly on an up-and-coming team like Dallas.

And, it’s not like the Mavericks are a work in progress. They have the skill players to be a championship team in the next couple of seasons, and Green is the consistent presence that could help elevate them.

Doncic and Porzingis make them a championship contender, but as we’ve seen throughout the last few seasons that Green is the player that can push a team to the next level, and he could certainly do that with the Mavericks.
