Houston Rockets

This would quite possibly never happen, but the Houston Rockets would be a terrific place for Draymond Green.

Aside from James Harden and Russell Westbrook who account for the bulk of the offensive production, the Rockets believe in filling their roster with strong-willed defenders.

Robert Covington and PJ Tucker are two solid three-and-D players that bring terrific energy and will guard any opponent on any night. That’s exactly what Green has the capability of doing while also assisting the Harden-led offense with his elite screens.

Green’s value is tough to gauge and what the Warriors would have to give up. Tucker may be involved in the deal, and the Warriors may give a discount to a team that’d help them retain Kevin Durant.

A three-time All-Star and three-time champion, the Warriors would have no intent to trade Green to Houston, but given they could get a player of similar grit in Tucker, it seems like it could be a perfect match.
