4. LaMelo Ball (G – Illawarra)

Strengths:

Depending on who you ask, LaMelo Ball might have the highest ceiling of anyone in the 2020 NBA Draft. He is elite with the ball in his hands and has a natural skill for creating plays. Ball is a crafty finisher and creative passer. As he fills into his 6’8″ frame, Ball has all of the necessary talents to become a superstar in this league.

Weaknesses:

With all this being said, Ball needs to bulk up. He is a flimsy guard that will struggle against stronger opponents. Furthermore, Ball needs to adjust his jump shot mechanics and take the next step towards being a fluid 3-point shooter.

Outlook:

Ball could be the face of the Golden State Warriors if his development goes as planned. The only question is, do the Warriors want to focus on ushering in another star guard for the future who will they choose to focus on winning another championship as soon as possible?
