Andrew Wiggins

Andrew Wiggins, a 6-foot-7 former No. 1 overall pick, was brought in halfway through the season.

He only played a handful of games with the Golden State Warriors, and while the fit is certainly better than Russell’s fit on the team, there’s no denying he could easily be flipped for a developed and efficient star.

Wiggins averaged 21.8 points per game on 45% from the field and 33% from deep. Those aren’t bad, and if he can keep them up into the new season, he may cement himself as the second coming of Harrison Barnes.

The Warriors have the assets to do it with potentially two lottery picks in the next two drafts. Wiggins, who isn’t known as a great defender or elite three-point shooter, could easily be dealt with those picks.

Fans have theorized trading Wiggins and the picks for reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. While that’s not going to happen, Wiggins finding his way off the team this offseason or before the next deadline is certainly possible.

While, at large, the Warriors will likely stay put and ride their current roster, a draft-day trade could certainly see one of these leave pushed out of the Bay.
