Potential

A 25-year-old Wiggins definitely has the years to become a Golden State Warriors legend. Entering the NBA at 19-years-old, Wiggins is extremely young when compared to the depth of the veterans the team has the roster.

With room to develop, teams have given up on young players like Wiggins in the past, just like at Marquese Chriss for a quick example. The Warriors will take a shot that not only can he play well but he can also develop into a better player.

While we love veteran players like Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green, they aren’t getting any younger. The future needs to come, and Wiggins could be a huge part of the Warriors’ long-term plans.

Eventually, there will be a new set of Golden State stars that rise up from the ranks. With the mentoring of the current Warriors stars, Wiggins can make a case for being another Warrior legend.

Think of Wiggins, Eric Paschall, Jordan Poole, and along with the picks they add in the coming drafts as this team’s next core.
