Finding low-profile free agents to help bolster the Golden State Warriors supporting cast will be key to another title next season.

Building a championship team is more than just banking on your star players to carry the load. The Golden State Warriors will need to construct a roster strong enough to support Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.

The acquisition of Andrew Wiggins was a good start. Golden State managed to flip the loss of Kevin Durant into D’Angelo Russell and eventually Wiggins. Now, Wiggins will look to fill in a void at the small forward position.

Meanwhile, rising star Eric Paschall is going to be asked to take another step forward in his development. He showed promise as a scorer in his rookie season but will need to be consistent if the Dubs want to play him in the postseason.

At the end of the day, the Warriors would much rather rely on a veteran player who can be trusted in big moments. With limited cap space that could be further affected by the NBA’s financial situation due to COVID, let’s look at three low-profile players the team can target in free agency.
