Golden State Warriors trade targets: Kristaps Porzingis

Now, we’re going to get into a few bigger stars that the team should look into. If they win the NBA Draft Lottery, the Warriors will be awarded the No. 1 overall pick. With that pick, a team could snag LaMelo Ball or Anthony Edwards.

Would Kristaps Porzingis be worth one of those two?

Before missing all of last season, the 7-foot-3 power forward was notching almost 23 points per game. Since that, Porzingis was traded to Dallas and is now nearing 20 points per game this season. He seems to be a solid piece of the puzzle for the Luka Doncic-led Mavs.

However, what if the return is a first-round pick that you could use to add around the budding Doncic? Adding an Edwards type athlete to compliment Doncic could be the perfect match if he is able to get anywhere close to his ceiling.

Porzingis likely isn’t on the move, but he would be a quintessential addition to a lacking Warriors’ frontcourt.
