The mega-deal

Giannis Antetokounmpo is a versatile power forward that the Warriors should gladly give up their 2020 and 2021 first-round picks for. The reigning MVP would be worth almost every expendable asset the Warriors have. He’s certainly a player they’d surrender that pick for.

Antetokounmpo is only 25 years old, yet gives off veteran vibes as he has 6 years of experience already under his belt and plays with a confidence that isn’t seen by many young studs.

The Greek Freak can play virtually every position, one reason he’s going to be so difficult to acquire. The reigning MVP was averaging over 29 points, 13 rebounds, and 5 assists per game this season.

That type of production Giannis puts up is unmatched in virtually league history. He’s still ascending as well, making over 1.5 threes per game. Over doubling his previous average, Giannis’ shot is continuing to progress.

He could be an MVP candidate for the next five-plus seasons.

That said, while Klay Thompson and company is quite the load, anything that’d have to do with Giannis, aside from giving them our two-time MVP is worth the return.
