Myles Turner

In the team’s dominant stretch over the last half a decade, they’ve had shot blockers. They’ve created lineups that possess an ability to protect the rim, but they certainly haven’t had a center of Myles Turner’s caliber.

While he is in the midst of a down year as the Pacers have played the bulk of the season without Victor Oladipo, Turner has been known as one of the league’s best defensive bigs, leading the league in blocks just a season ago.

Turner has tremendously improved his three-point shooting, one reason he’s made himself one of the league’s top up-and-coming big men. At just 24 years old and standing 6-foot-10, Turner is now averaging 1.4 threes per game.

Take that big type of versatile big man and put him on a team that’d love to create open looks for bigs, and you have a match made in heaven. With the spacing that Curry and Thompson bring, Turner taking his game to a new level in the Bay would almost be a given.

It’s a win-win, but the cost of securing such a young stud would be unreasonable. Two first-round picks may do the trick as both are destined to be lottery picks, but the Warriors would also have value Turner over other stars that those same assets could potentially bring in.
