Charlotte Hornets

Another team that could need Andrew Wiggins is the Charlotte Hornets. The Hornets made a splash offseason signing with Terry Rozier. But, they haven’t done much with Rozeir’s talent.

Seven games out of playoff contention, the Hornets failed season has been a testament to poor decision making and several picks that are unlikely to develop into the superstar talent the team saw them as.

While Wiggins is not high-level superstar, he has shown that he can be a scoring machine. Wiggins neared 45% from the field this season while averaging 21.8 points per game.

Improving as a shooter as well, Wiggins’ untapped potential could help the Hornets take their team to the next level. The Rozier-Wiggins combination with players like Malik Monk and Miles Bridges would set up the Hornets well for the future.

With the cap space to bring Wiggins in the need for scoring, the Hornets may not be the best trade partner as they don’t offer much in return that Golden State could use. However, the team could certainly use a Wiggins-like talent.
