The 2020 NBA Draft doesn’t appear to be loaded with superstar talent but these three prospects could one day receive the torch from Stephen Curry.

Finding the next Stephen Curry is impossible. No one will ever be able to match what the two-time MVP has done for the Golden State Warriors. This shouldn’t stop the franchise from looking to find the next heir to the throne in the 2020 NBA Draft.

According to most scouts, this class isn’t bloated with future superstars. Only a few prospects stand out as potential stars while the rest look to be valuable role players at best.

Furthermore, there have been steady reports that the Warriors are interested in trading their first round pick. They have plenty of valid reasons to exchange the pick for other assets but it also wouldn’t hurt for the Dubs to have a top prospect stashed away for a potential rebuild should things go south.

In this case, the Warriors should be keeping their eyes open for a prospect worthy of carrying the torch once Curry’s prime is over. Here are the three most likely candidates.
