3. Killian Hayes

Though he has flown well under the radar in terms of the national spotlight, Killian Hayes is an elite offensive prospect that has a high ceiling as a scorer at the NBA level.

Playing overseas, Hayes has developed quickly against older competition. He will be 19 in July but has already competed in three professional seasons for Cholet and Ratiopharm Ulm. Last season was his best yet, posting 12.8 points and 6.2 assists per game.

Hayes isn’t an explosive athlete but he excels in decision making. He is great at picking apart defenses and has no shortage of tricks up his sleeve. Hayes has even drawn comparisons to the NBA’s leading scorer, James Harden.

While it’s unlikely Hayes ever reaches the astronomical heights Harden has reached in recent years, it still serves as a totem of respect to earn such a comparison. Furthermore, learning behind one of the best offensive guards of all-time in Stephen Curry could certainly help Hayes take his game to great places.
