2. Anthony Edwards

No other player in the 2020 NBA Draft has as much raw potential on both ends of the floor as Anthony Edwards.

His build and athleticism alone make him a bonafide stud. What makes him more impressive is the way he was able to carry such a heavy load offensively for Georgia as a freshman. Edwards scored 19.1 points per game and shot above 40 percent from the floor while doing it.

However, fatigue was a clear factor that affected Edwards last season. He was unable to give it his all defensively and often settled for jump shots late in games. This is one aspect of his game that he will need to improve if he wants to succeed at the NBA level.

Nonetheless, Edwards is capable of being a jaw-dropping scorer while also being a lockdown perimeter defender. His skill set would be a stark contrast from Curry’s but the Warriors wouldn’t be complaining if Edwards blossomed into a star.
