Glenn Robinson III

The Golden State Warriors signed Glenn Robinson III in the 2019 offseason. However, they traded him later in the season, before the league’s 2020 trade deadline. They packaged him with Alec Burks and sent them both Philadelphia.

While in Golden State, Robinson averaged 12.9 points per game.

It’s not just his scoring that would make him an ideal addition, but rather his ability to shoot from deep. With Golden State, he shot 40% from deep, the second time in his career he shot such a percentage.

He was asked to do more, and he responded well. Open to returning this offseason, Robinson’s addition would be a huge plus because of his cost. Unlike other pricey free agents, Robinson’s likely still signing for the veteran’s minimum.

In Philadelphia, Robinson’s minutes and opportunity dropped significantly. Knowing the Warriors culture, it’d be a perfect play to bring him back. Round 1 went so well that he deserves a Round 2 in which the Warriors are true title contenders.
