1. DeMarcus Cousins

Could DeMarcus Cousins return to the Golden State Warriors next season? It isn’t off the table.

Cousins nearly ‘broke the NBA’ when he joined the Dubs in the summer of 2018. In reality, most people underestimated the physical toll his injuries would have on him and he spent most of the year hobbled.

This season, Cousins has remained sidelined in an attempt to fully recover. Having next season be pushed back can only help the four-time All-Star on his road back to the NBA. An opportunity to redeem himself in Golden State is a great way to solidify his greatness.

The Warriors could use Cousins’ interior scoring now more than ever. Curry and Thompson can only carry this offense so much. An elite post scorer like Boogie would push them over the top.

Signing a one-year deal with the Dubs gives him a chance to show that he is still capable of putting up numbers. If he is successful, I’m sure there will be a longer contract waiting for him at the end of the season.
