6. Maurice Harkless

Similar to other players on this list, Maurice Harkless has a build that the Golden State Warriors are searching for. Lanky and versatile. This is the type of player the Dubs need to help buff their defense.

Last season, the Warriors declined significantly in terms of defense. They gave up the 2nd most points in the league and were routinely schooled by opposing wings. Harkless isn’t an elite defender but he can help in this department.

Harkless spent four productive seasons in Portland before joining the Clippers and eventually being traded to New York. The 26-year old forward is still full of energy and can play a part in disrupting opposing offenses.

The biggest concern with Harkless is that he is not a lethal shooter from deep. However, his athleticism and quickness are going to outweigh his weaknesses if the Warriors can put him in the right positions for success.
