3. Nerlens Noel

The Golden State Warriors aren’t desperate for a center but they wouldn’t mind acquiring a proven rim protector. Nerlens Noel has done enough over the last few seasons to show that he is worthy of being on a championship-contending team.

Noel entered the league as a top prospect. Since then, he has carved out a valuable role as a rebounder and interior defender. His offensive game never panned out but he has always been an anchor in the paint with his shot-blocking ability.

The Warriors have stated they are content with starting Marquese Chriss at the five this season. Still, Chriss is undersized for the center position and has yet to play at a high-rate for an extended period of time.

Noel is nearly 7-foot tall and is ready to elevate the Warriors defense. He ranked 16th in total blocks this season while the Dubs fell into the bottom 10 in this category.
