3 forwards the Golden State Warriors can potentially sign for the veteran’s minimum
Glenn Robinson III
Glenn Robinson III was dealt to the Philadelphia 76ers with Alec Burks for three second-round picks just days before the 2020 NBA trade deadline. His play and time have declined drastically in the City of Brotherly Love.
It was to be expected as Robinson was seeing a career-high in minutes per game in Golden State. However, with that opportunity, Robinson was thriving. He almost doubled his previous career-high and his percentages were solid as well.
That’s what made him valuable. Before coming to Golden State, Robinson had a declining market. He saw his career revived with the Warriors, and he’s noted that he’s open to making a return to the Bay Area.
Robinson could again come at a veteran’s minimum, and if the team doesn’t draft Anthony Edwards, Robinson III would offer some much-needed depth at the three. Knowing the system, a reunion would be ideal for both parties.
