Killian Hayes

One of the young guards looking for an NBA home that can mold him into the player scouts know he can be is Killian Hayes. Hayes has earned several accolades over the last few seasons and has put up solid numbers in the LNB Pro A, the German basketball league.

“The 18 year-old shared Most Valuable Player honors in the 2017 Jordan Brand Classic international game and was averaging 12.0 points and 5.6 assists in Germany this past season before the schedule was halted,” CBS Sports’ Gary Parrish wrote on Hayes.

Even The Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor just wrote on how Hayes is the draft’s top prospect. He has everything. While much of his game could be refined, Hayes has a solid handle, he has great vision, he is a good shooter.

There’s not much that Hayes can’t do. He needs to improve his shooting and will likely need to bulk up to the NBA level. However, O’Connor did not that his style of play is similar to fellow lefty James Harden.

Hayes has the toolbox, but it could take some development. Good thing the Warriors have the time it’d take to get the best from Hayes.
