1. Rudy Gay

If Rudy Gay wants a chance to win a championship before he retires, joining the Golden State Warriors is his best option.

Gay has played 14 seasons in the NBA and has always been a killer on offense. He can score on all levels and is smooth with the ball in his hands. His 6’8″ frame and lanky arms make him a threat at all-times.

The last few years have seen Gay take on a smaller role in San Antonio. As his shot attempts have slowly decreased, his efficiency has actually improved. It is very likely Gay would be a good spark plug off the bench for Golden State.

With the Spurs, Gay has averaged 11.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game across the last three seasons.

Gay would fill in as a replacement for Andre Iguodala. While Iggy specialized in defense, Gay would be a force on offense. He is the best possible player the Warriors could acquire without giving up their first round pick and an obvious target for the franchise.
