Dennis Schroder

Schroder is actually under contract for $15.5 million next season, which falls just under the $17.2 million the Warriors could allot to a new star. It works on that end although he’d have to be traded for, not signed.

He could be worth it though. Schroder was an instrumental part of the Thunder’s success last season. He averaged 19.0 points per game on a career-high 46.8% from the field and 38.1% from downtown.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pound guard has a small frame but is a solid defender.

His energy and spark would help Golden State’s second unit tremendously. For Golden State, unless they can get a Kevin Durant-like star, adding a player that could enhance their depth should be the play.

An efficient scorer this season, Schroder’s finally got the hang of scoring at a high rate and doing so with solid percentages. That will make an ideal target for many teams once he hits the market, and hopefully, the Warriors could get a season with him before that.
