The Golden State Warriors don’t have much cap space to work with. They will need to find some low-cost, high-quality free agents to sign.

How can the Golden State Warriors add enough talent to compete for a title next season when they are locked into so many monstrous contracts? The core four of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins is set to eat up roughly $130 million dollars next year alone.

This leaves the rest of the roster decimated in terms of talent and payroll. The next highest-paid player is Kevon Looney, who has never been an elite talent and will make $4 million dollars.

The Warriors understand they need to round out the edges to their lineup if they want a chance at winning another championship. Their core is strong, but the supporting cast is lacking. But, hauling in a quality player will be difficult with their financial situation.

Thankfully, the Dubs have a few saving graces. Their mid-level exception will be worth around $6 million dollars, giving them an opportunity to sign one more player. The front office will need to find a valuable player that will consider signing for cheap. Each of the three guys on our list fit that mold.
