Nothing is off the table. The Golden State Warriors should be working to acquire one of these seven rising stars in the next two seasons.

Rebuilding isn’t the first thing on the Golden State Warriors radar, but finding new stars to carry the next generation of Dubs basketball should always be a goal.

The Warriors did more than just win three champions across the last six seasons. They established a winning culture in one of the premier NBA cities. Living in the Bay Area is a perk in itself, but playing championship basketball makes them a dream destination for star players.

As we already stated, the Dubs aren’t ready to blow it up and begin looking for rising stars yet. However, there is no denying their appeal to younger players and the franchise has the assets to acquire their star of the future. Their trade exception is worth roughly $17 million dollars and they currently have multiple first-round picks that could be valuable in trades.

There is also the potential for the NBA to implement another amnesty clause. If used to its fullest capabilities, this could open up a chunk of cap space for the Dubs in the next few seasons.

Before the hate comments begin, we are in no way saying the Warriors are the front runners to acquire any of these prospects. Nor are we saying the front office has expressed interest in going all-out for an heir to Stephen Curry’s throne. But, each of these rising stars could become available to the Warriors one way another.
