Adding shooters and veterans is a big goal for the Golden State Warriors. Here are four players they can target with their mid-level exception.

Shooting has been a staple of the Golden State Warriors offense for the last decade. Ever since Stephen Curry shot his way into legendary status, the Warriors have ensured he was surrounded by other great shooters.

Firstly, they gave him the perfect running mate in Klay Thompson. The two have hit more 3-pointers in the last five seasons than any other teammates in league history. A number of different players were added to the roster to complement the splash brothers over the years.

In their first championship run, Harrison Barnes and Draymond Green acted as floor spacers. Soon, Kevin Durant took things to a whole new level. Meanwhile, players like Brandon Rush, Quinn Cook, Nick Young, Ian Clark, Patrick McCaw, Omri Casspi and Jonas Jerebko filled in as additional shooters to add depth.

Next season, the Warriors will want to replicate their teams of the past by acquiring at least one veteran 3-point shooter to round out their lineups. Today, we look at four players they can target with their mid-level exception.
