2. Wesley Matthews

In his prime, Wesley Matthews was one of the original 3-and-D players. He was an elite perimeter defender and a sniper from beyond the arch. Though a string of injuries has changed the trajectory of his career, he is still an accurate shooter.

Matthews has been on four different teams since 2018. As his scenery changed, his role remained the same. A role that he has succeeded in for most of his career. Now with the Milwaukee Bucks, Matthews has started in all 62 games and is putting up 7.5 points per game.

The Bucks rely on Matthews to add versatility to their defense with his ability to switch through screens and defend multiple positions. But, the thing that makes him most valuable is his 3-point shot. Matthews has hit over 100 3-pointer this season and connects on roughly 40 percent of his catch-and-shoot opportunities.

It would be easy for the Dubs to slot Matthews into their lineup and give him big minutes off the bench.
