Quinn Cook

Another player that fans must root for is Quinn Cook.

While Cook had the option to return to the Bay Area, he opted to head to Los Angeles with DeMarcus Cousins, two players that were teammates with Golden State last season. Cousins has since been waived by Los Angeles.

As for Cook, he played the last two seasons with Golden State. Having started 38 games in those two seasons, Cook has only ever started an NBA game as a member of the Warriors. During his stint in 2017-2018, Cook averaged 9.5 points per game and shot over 44% from downtown.

Also a critical part of Finals’ runs, Cook proved his worth, but he saw the writing on the wall with Klay Thompson’s Game 6 injury. Now, he’s in a position where he can win another championship with the LeBron James-led Lakers.

Cook, Iguodala and Robinson were all enjoyable to watch in the Bay Area, and now they’ll have a chance at a title in the NBA’s July 30th restart.
