1. Derrick Jones Jr

The Golden State Warriors aren’t fully committed to a rebuild but adding young talent is always a plus. Derrick Jones Jr. is one of the few prospects they can target that will help the team compete now and in the future.

DJJ has soared in his role with the Miami Heat. The high-flying dunker has become much more than a highlight reel as he is beginning to take on more responsibility. Jones is becoming an adequate ball handler in transition and is using his athleticism to clean the glass and block shots.

Learning behind first-time All-Star, Bam Adebayo, Jones has slowly been developing into a great rim-runner. Giving him full freedom within the Warriors system could be fun for everyone.

The Dubs are the best pace-and-space team in the league. With Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson back on the floor, throwing in a freak like Jones would be an instant success. Jones can make a big impact due to his ability to run on the break and finish opportunities around the rim.

Similar to others on this list, Jones is likely expecting to make bank in the offseason. After all, he has earned a significant increase to his current $3 million dollar deal. The Warriors can offer him a bigger contract with the potential to earn more money in the future if he continues to prove himself.
