8. Will Barton

Will ‘The Thrill’ Barton has been making major developments in his game since his breakout in 2015. He has transformed into one of the league’s most reliable role players and is thriving in Denver.

Barton is an athletic wonder. Standing at 6’6″ and possessing a 7-foot wingspan, Barton has the physical build of a lockdown wing in today’s NBA. He lives up to this role with the Nuggets as he consistently defends the opposing team’s best players.

While Barton makes the most of his athleticism on the defensive end, he is also an above-average offensive player. Barton is averaging 15.1 points on almost 40 percent shooting from the 3-point line.

Barton won’t be a free agent until 2022 but the Warriors can make a push for him using their $17 million dollar trade exception and one of their upcoming first-round draft picks.
