They could use the rest

The Golden State Warriors’ Big 3 could use the rest and even the players that aren’t among their three best could use the additional time to recover.

As aforementioned, the Warriors been to five straight NBA Finals. That type of lengthened season takes a toll on a player. The one saving grace is that many of the Warriors youth weren’t there for their championship runs.

Those that’ve been there for all of or even part of the journey likely would’ve embraced a longer-than-usual offseason.

That said, it was obvious that the team needed the rest as many of their stars were consistently got injured throughout the season.

Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Kevon Looney went through long stretches of injuries with Curry playing just five games all season. Both star players, as the team was doing poorly, made no attempt to rush their return.

The Warriors could use the rest; however, it’s unlikely the Big 3 would even return if the second bubble is approved.
