Klay Thompson is ready to give everything he has to help the Golden State Warriors win another championship next season.

Fans have been starving to see Klay Thompson suit up for the Golden State Warriors again. The five-time All-Star hasn’t appeared in a game since the 2019 NBA Finals due to a torn ACL but says his mind and body are 100 percent ready to go for next season. Posting a video for his fans in China, Thompson stated he is prepared to get back on the court.

Thompson was medically cleared to play a few weeks ago. However, it is still extremely unlikely that Klay will make an appearance in the NBA’s proposed second bubble. Instead, Thompson and the rest of the Warriors core will focus on the task ahead of them.

For the Splash Brothers, only championships matter anymore. They have achieved more than their fair share of individual accolades and records. Thompson, like the rest of his teammates, is interested in chasing after a title.

This means Thompson will have to be at his best. The Warriors are competing with a whole lot less talent on their roster than in years prior. Thompson’s importance as a 3-and-D player is more critical than ever.

The league is quickly expanding with talent. The Milwaukee Bucks will be a longterm threat while LeBron James and Kawhi Leonard are massive roadblocks in the Western Conference. There is no chance the Warriors beat either of these teams without a strong outing from the Splash Bros.

Nonetheless, no duo in league history has hit more 3-pointers than Curry and Thompson in the last five seasons. The two have transcended basketball and remain the pinnacle of backcourt scoring. If Thompson is truly 100 percent ready to compete again, I wouldn’t bet against them regardless of who is matched up on the other side.
