The Golden State Warriors may make a trade to improve their roster this offseason, especially if their 2020 first-round pick is available.

There’s no denying this season didn’t go as planned for the Golden State Warriors. At the time of the league’s suspension, the Warriors were the only team not in playoff contention, winning just 15 games and losing 50.

As we now enter the offseason barring a second bubble coming to fruition, the team will look to improve their roster enough to get back into Finals contention. With a healthy Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, the team may not need too much.

They’ll have many assets, including a high-value 2020 and 2021 pick at their disposal. Along with two trade exceptions, one totaling almost $17.2 million, the Warriors will definitely have avenues to improve their roster quite a bit.

The Warriors will reportedly consider trading their 2020 first-round pick. Given that we don’t know it’s true value yet since the lottery has yet to take place, the team will more than likely wait to see the value of the pick before trading it.

That said, along with a few valuable young players in Jordan Poole and Eric Paschall, let’s dive into three underrated offseason trade targets for Golden State.
